First of all, I must say that if I miss anything about living in
This article from The Times responds to the sex ban in the new double suite-airplanes. If you haven’t heard about the new Airbus, essentially it’s taken passenger comfort and luxury to the next level, providing rooms with beds (which can be raised and lowered as chairs) and other amenities for those willing to pay. O.K. Fine. Maybe they’ve gone a bit overboard. But now Singapore Airlines has implemented a strict ‘no sex’ rule. Two questions: 1) Why would you fly a jet with beds in it if you’re concerned about on-board coitus? 2) How will this ban be enforced? patrols every five minutes?
If you have nothing better to do right now, read the whole thing here.

First of all, I think the article is hilarious! I mean, if you are getting a double bed, with your significant other and lots of booze, things just happen! Leaving this on the other side, you are paying for a room, so the moment yo get there, it becomes a private place for you. You own it while the trip goes on, and waht happens in the room stays in the room, right? lol
The other question I have is who would volunteer/what kind of job description would require employees to interrupt potential coitus? And what would the consequence for having sex be?
Great article. I especially liked the quotes of Tony, the "vigorous" 76-year-old. Maybe the A380 just doesn't want to have to clean up the sheets, etc. after the flight. I agree it's pretty ridiculous, but what I'm wondering is what's their motivation for this rule? Did something happen once on the airplanes that had to do with sexual activity, or is this rule completely arbitrary?
i love this article! extremely hilarious! I wuould like to kno (as steph) what wuold be the real consequence of sex being had on the plane? Why did they issue the ban in the first place?
